| MOUNT HARRIET | | | | Mount Harriet was the summer headquarters of the Chief Commissioner during the British rein. This place is an ideal for a nice and fascinating overview of the outer islands and the sea. It is the highest peak in South Andaman (365 mt - Second highest in Andaman). One can trek upto Madhuban through a natures trail and can find rare endemic birds, animals, and butterflies.
If you choose to go by road its 55 km from City. but an alternative route is just 15 km by ferry boat + road from Port Blair.
